LPG Retail Outlet definition in the LPG Bills – proposed by LKI to the House Comm on Energy

December 13, 2020
Committee on EnergyHouse of Representatives Quezon City

RE: LPG Bill
Sir:
We confirm Laban  Konsyumer Inc.  proposal for a full and.complete deregulation in the definition of a LPG Retail Outlet, including the elimination of a minimum floor stock  and brand loyalty.
This proposal is consistent with Rep Act 8749  in full deregulation in the retail of fuel products that includes LPG. .
As we said, with a very strict LPG law on safety and.compliance to technical requirements, the presumption is LPG in the hands of the Retail outlet is safe.
This proposal empowers consuners right to choose the brand he or she buys.
Also when a retail outlet secures business permit from the host  lgu, a fire permit is part of the fees paid  .
Finally, our proposal is consistent with the law on Ease of doing  business or Rep Act 11032.
Thank you very much
