Carolina Q. Alvarez is the President of CQA Realty. She was appointed National Technical Adviser by Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) of the Department of Finance, as consultant to the Technical Assistance team for the National Adviser Pool Valuation Standards in 2008-2010. She also sits on the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Real Property Valuation, Revenue Region No. 8 as Executive Committee Member, to assist in the zonal valuation of Revenue Districts covering the cities of Taguig, Pateros, Paranaque, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Makati North, Makati South, Makati East and Makati West.
Ms. Alvarez has extensive experience in multiple sales, lease, appraisal and transaction consultancy services of properties and investment portfolios on behalf of financial institutions and property clients such as GE Money Bank, RCBC Savings Bank and Colliers International.
She is one of the country’s leading real estate practitioners and is recognized across the industry, President and past Chairman of the largest national association of appraisers, the Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers, Inc. (PARA) and served as former president of Philippine Association of Realty Consultants and Specialists, (PARCS) and Paranaque-Las Pinas-Alabang Realtors Board, Inc. (PLAREB). She has been a seminar directress in real estate practice examination review courses and a lecturer at De La Salle University-College of St. Benilde in Manila, Philippines.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Far Eastern University with a Degree of Bachelor of Science Major in Chemistry.
