LKI statement on the Consumer Welfare Month

We join the Filipino consumers in celebration  of the Consumer Welfare Month . This annual tribute started in 1994 when the Consumer Act became a law.  

Consumers today know and êxercise their rights and responsibilities   with a vibrant media support in all forms.

LABAN KONSYUMER INC. Fully supports the bills of Sen Ralph Recto and Congresswoman Vilma Santos Recto empowering consumers  representation in government regulatory agencies. We call on the  Senate and House Committees on Trade and Industry to commence  deliberations on the Bill .

Finally , LKI laments that this administration had literally mothballed the  consuner platform thru the National Consumer Affairs Council  created under the Consumer Act.
