between Manila Electric Company and Solar Power Tarlac Corporation.

LABAN KONSYUMER INC. filed
a Manifestation today , September 10, 2019, to the Energy
Regulatory Commission not later than Wednesday , urging a more
transparent information to the consumers and avoid misleading
information as to the rate impact of the PSA agreement between
Meralco and the Solar Power Tarlac Corporation .
The rate impact of the Power
Supply Agreement should consider the total distribution capacity of
Meralco , its monthly average generation rate as well as the 16%
per year escalation starting on the 11th year of the 20
year contract
The rate of the contract
is Php 2.3456 pkwh while Meralco’s net rate impact is Php 0.005
pkwh as stated in the Application.
